Well, America had a good run, but it had to stop at some point. Time to finish that last drink, tip the waitress, cash out, and head out.

I don't see any Ronald Reagans in our future.
And this one mother fucker isn't going to do it by himself, has a liberal senate and congress that will help him pass anything he wants without much issue. We are all about to go on one hell of a ride.

Now I'll grant you that. The next four years are certainly going to be a challenge. But I think that will only serve to motive the conservative movement.
There ARE more Ronald Reagans in our future. You just don't know them yet. Remember, Obama only came onto the national stage a few years ago. There are several up and coming conservatives that have a real shot in 2012 or 2016.
oh, and it isn't Sarah Palin.
One quick name I throw up is Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal. In a very short time he has started to turn the tide in Louisiana. He has passed the strongest ethics laws in the history of the United States, taking Louisiana from worst to first overnight. He has spearheaded several programs to rebuild the state and set it up for future success. He is a conservative and hella smart. If an African American can become President, then and Indian American (his parents are from India) can do so too...
One other thing. Obama doesn't get his rubber stamp. The Democrats didn't get their filibuster proof majority. I see several years of senatorial gridlock. Well, we can hope.

Obama was farmed to be potus by the likes of Tom Daschle. His rise to (sic) success is due to those key democrats and his gift for gab. There are no conservative republicans that could do the same thing on the radar today, not without having a collective republican party farm them like how Obama was farmed. Not with the fractured and shrinking republican party as i is now (and probably will be worse in the future).
I do agree with you on Bobby Jindal though. I don't think he has any drive to be anything more than a state governor though.
About filibuster proof majority, I don't think they need it, as there are (and will be more) republican turn-coats that will help the dems just for return favors. Not sure who it was I saw tonight, (think it was a cabinet member for Bill Clinton) even said it, that the dems really are not worried about filibusters as they are confident they will be able to pickup key republican supports. :(

It's obvious the Dems brought Obama up through a farm system with intentions of holding big political positions. That's one of the biggest problems in both parties, backhanded dealings and lifelong politicians.

Why are black people so angry all the time – it’s a matter of remembering the way the Jews remember the Holocaust.
I wondered whether... a black politics that suppressed rage toward whites generally, or one that failed to elevate race loyalty above all else, was a politics inadequate to the task.
Whatever he (the white man) decided to do, it was his decision to make, not yours, and because of that fundamental power he held over you, because it preceded and would outlast his individual motives and implications, any distinctions between good and bad whites held negligible meaning.
Truly he is a BLACK President.
