i really don't need that kind of help, thanks anyways. I have an accountant who has taken care of me for a while. Everything that I have read leads me to believe that I as a small business owner am screwed for a while. Time will tell and maybe I will be wrong. Maybe not. I'm in your same predicament as well. I'm not close to the $200k mark (wish I was) but know the increased taxes in our range is a distinct possibility. However, I will tell you this, I'll be damned if I let that change my way of life. My wife and I will continue to work as we always have. russia was making a play to take as much land as possible after the war the US didn't want other countries to fall, so we placed bases and were there to help if russia was to make a move, but the fighting was over the soliders were not dying or being attacked. we didn't send new troops there we sent most of them home, the ones that stayed were the "lifers" and they were there because that was their new home base. But they were not fighting during that time.

Right. Bush was actually correct when he claimed, "Mission accomplished." There has been other objectives out here since, though. What people don't understand is that we took on a great responsibility when we dismantled the government out here. We basically said that we'd run government operations until Iraq is once again self-sustaining. It would be very irresponsible of us to just leave after destroying the government. We'd be no better than Saddam or any of those terrorist organizations. All those who originally voted to back the Administration when going in and now oppose us still being there had no business being where they were to vote in the first place. We're on a good track for two years, but not the way Obama wants to vacate. He wants a Battallion a month gone until all is gone. Timelines like that can't be done. You move out however many is deemed fit by CENTCOM, no one else.

Just the logistics behind who covers for who when 300-500 would be difficult and having to do that every month would be insane IMO.

Also, people may not realize but you pull out probably a fairly low percentage (I'd guesstimate around 15-25%) you may as well pull out 100% of the military. Since they'll become ineffective as the terrorists will likely ramp up their efforts while we're redeploying. Specifically when doing so with unrealistic goals that can't be obtained without being extremely careless/sloppy.
