We had a good time at the track last night. May some dfwstangers can get together and go to the track one night.

Had a good time.. Ran a new best with new tranny combo.... Just wish the track was hooking a little better. Had a hard time keeping it straight on the launch but after a few suspension changes it came around.... (First time I've had to touch the suspension in 4 years!!!) So I cant complain much..lol

Well last night was the first time i had ever staged up. I was runnin some shitty times in the totally stock 89 lx. Solid 10's in the 1/8 every pass. :o but I had a good time, and the old bitch was hazing oil smoke after the 8th pass. and still didnt blow up on the 9th.

No,i did get a couple of cars, but when your car came back up my buddy screwed up my camera so i was done for the nite.But that is a very nice and fun too watch car you got.. :D

Yea a few passes were interesting in the right lane, damn thing decided it was going to make a left turn with the wheels in the air..lol. I think we figured it out by the end of the night though. First time I've had to adjust the antiroll bar in the 4 years it has been in the car, so I cant complain. Hoping to get it to a 1/4 mile track before the season is over but who knows.

I guess that is a good thing about the suspension. The car looked good going down the track. Mine was running high 9's I guess thats ok for it being stock. I red litghted that one time because my brakes wouldn't hold for some reason, but every pass after that they did. It could have been driver error lol.

Thanks for the props on the car & thank you to everyone that lended their advise on getting it to go straight. I need every bit I could to get last night..lol. Worked out by the end of the night!
