I would like to run this race....

I've heard that 29.5 x 10.5 tires really need to be on a 12" rim, and I've got 14's. Supposedly the 14 will stretch the tire too far and you don't get the full action of the sidewall or something to that affect.

well if you had a chevy bolt pattern i have some 10 inch rims. I wish i could fit a 12 inch rim under my truck.

Andrew, my buddy w/ the purple 3rd gen. camaro runs 29.5x10.5 tires and he has 14" rim w/ 6" backspace. Yes it stretches the tire but it still hooksup.

We run Sheffields car on a 14" wheel. No problem.
