Adrl extreme 10.5

I have been a fan of this class since hearing about it.
After seeing it first hand Yesterday I am even more impressed with this class.
The varity of cars and power plants is amazing. There truly is no " dominate" combo in that class.
The world record was set three different times on Saturday with three different combos.
First a 800" nitrous motor did it, then a 400" nitrous small block does it and then when it was all said and done a 6 cylinder turbo car sets it.
Plenty of cars within a tenth or so of each other.
Koth probably should lean back and rethink some things soon. If someone ever creates a class with the same rules or lack of rules as Adrl has to run localy, I think it will be the final nail in the koth coffin.

Yeah the ADRL did it right. I really like the way they did the championships. The top 8 points leaders compete in a ladder style elimination for the championship at the last race (Friday night) and then Saturday is actually the first race for 2009.

Compare it to FFW where the championships are usually decided with 3 events to go. The first races always have huge car counts but the final event has maybe 4 pro cars.
