My grand father had a blue Gran Torino similar to the one they showed. Movie looks predictable but I'll probably see it.

I thought it was pretty good.

I didn't like the ending, and it didn't go exactly as I thought, but worth the watch.

One of the worst movies I have ever watched.

Actually, I take that back. It was great as a comedy. I laughed outloud several times.

This movie rocked. I didnt expect it to be that much of a comedy though. Although i wish there were more action scenes with the car, i'm glad to see they didnt destroy the thing like a lot of other movies do.

There are a bunch of awesome one-liners in there though. "I used to stack fucks like you 5 high in Korea and use you for sandbags!" LMMFAO

Just watched that on dvd today, movie was pretty damn good. Definitly was not expecting the ending, I really thought is was going to end one way and completely went a different direction.

watched it tonight. man some funny fucking one liners but the plot stood. i didnt like how it ended but i understand as to why. definately a good fucking movie. glad i bought it.

Watched it this weekend on Bluray. I thought it was an excellent movie. Clint Eastwood is an amazing film director. The Gran Torino song during the ending credits was great.

Walt said things I use to hear my Grandfather say. He nailed that Korean vet mentality to the point of perfection.

For those of you that didn't understand or like the ending, then the deeper underlying subtext of Walt's character was lost on you. What he said to Toad after he locked him in the basement revealed his true pain and dictated why he took a Zippo lighter to a gun battle instead of a gun. He also knew that they would murder him and would most likely get arrested. As he knew Toad and his sister would have no life with that gang still on the streets.
