Last night I was watching David Letterman. They had Glen Campbell on for the musical talent. I was thinking, "Ok, this will be a nice blast from the past."
So Campbell and his kids (playing three of the band's instruments) come on and what do I hear come out of his mouth?
"I am a one way motor way. I'm the road that drives away and follows you back home."
WTF, he was singing "Times Like These" from the Foo Fighters. A seriously countryfied version. I've heard the Foo perform this song in acoustic and it was pretty good but this.. oh fuck no..
