View Full Version : I found out why I was making no power on bottle!

My car was running great on motor and on a 150 shot didnt feel like much more power was going to the ground.
I was checking everything yesterday and someone somewhere put a pencil eraser in the fuel line after my fuel solenoid so I was only getting 3 drops of fuel holding the solenoid open for 3 seconds! When I pulled the line off there was an eraser jammed in the fuel line.
I made 3 1/4 mile passes on the 150 shot with no fuel being added from the wet kit.
And I bumped the timing to 14 for the ffw. I cant believe it ran and didnt pop something with 3 back to back passes.

No one has even worked on my car so I dont even know when it could have happened. It sucks to think someone wanted my car to break.

In my garage or right in front of me at my oil change store, no one works on it and my employees wouldnt know enough to even do that to me, plus they all act like they like me. I left it here for 1 hour 2 weeks ago while I went to get intake gaskets and they were busy I am guessing that someone must have done it then but I dont think I have any car enemies or any enemies as a matter of fact, but it couldnt have gone all the way from the gas tank through everything up past the solenoid. It was jammed at the beginning of the line not even trying to go through it.

Oh well it didnt break, is there anything I should check for besides burnt plugs? The car is still running great I drove from keller to ffw and back home. Then I have driven it from keller to mansfield for work everyday this week and no problems. Ran good on the 35-75 punch yesterday so I think everything is ok.

Yeah my two year old is toooo smart, I knew I shouldnt have put him in the engine bay with a wrench and a pencil damn the luck.

I will probably wont be able to go to ennis until next year but will go to kennedale in the next couple of weeks. I am hoping for 7.40's to .50's on my 17 inch et streets, before I got 7.61 on my nittos and I had changed a couple of things since then.

I am more confuzed and upset that I have no clue who would have done that or when they did that. unless someone did it in the garge but I dont think anyone can get in there and if the garage is opened my dogs bark and the motion sensor for the alarm is supposed to go off.

yes still got the trailer and I bought it used but ended up replacing the fuel solenoid the nitrous solenoid and the lines and they have not been off the car in 3 years it was working fine until recently.

WTF? Someone had to have put it in there, it couldnt get past the solenoid.

No and it wouldnt even fit through the line after the solenoid it was just jammed at the beginning of the line oh well at least it didnt break!

and I dont think racinreid has touched this solenoid!

If you needed the extra insurance you could of just upped your shot but I got you next time at the track, and if I dont fetch the first run Ill just spray the 200 and see what happens :D
