I got really really really lucky. I should have some better hooking tires this time though. I'm pretty sure I had the cheapest smallest tires out there last time with my 265 15s cooper cobras.

Depends on the interpretation of "damn good". If <8.20 = "damn good", then I'll be happy :) . It's a spinfest on the street sometimes.

I have DOT's, but those won't be tossed on until the cruise. Should get some attention there. ;)

I ran a 7.65 at Dale a couple weeks ago on cheap street tires with a 1.82 60ft and 93mph.

Just curious what results come in.

I would hope someone can go faster than Alan (DonkeyPunch) with his white supra who went 6.9 @102mph at Redline....

That's probably why they have it only twice a month AND on a night for street cars.

Just a little class to cater to street vehicles, racing in the condition you'd find them on the street.

Here is how my car leaves on street tires .... this was about .3 tenths slower than it went with me driving it. I let someone else drive it.... it averages between a 7.65-7.85 with me driving depending on how well I play with the throttle out the hole. Usually punch it right after the 60ft.

Most people have power adders. I have ran a 7.5 at 95mph NA with 351 cubes and it was slow as crap for what it was. I got beat down by SEB in his TA and i think he is right at the 6 second mark NA now.
