yeah I forgot if it was a 45 or 50.... what is sad is I had a set but sold em to GoldLS1........ for cheap cheap.

Why do I need layaway? Do you think it will take more than a week or two for the New Greg Welds to be out in the 7.5 backspace for the rear?

Good luck getting drag radials! From what I've seen they aren't shipping any new ones out. So basically if you can find a store that has a set of those in stock you might be okay.

Chris, did they stop production? if so I need a set asap. :( Thats the exact tire I was going to run. If they re just not making any for the moment, i can wait till next season obviously, just need to know if it is "get while the gettin is good" type thing..

Summitt has em for 199.00 each shipping on 10/26?

Also it appears that there are multiple drag radial brands of the same size just in case.... I wonder if someone can rank them based on treadlife and traction? I assume you really cant get both... but as long as it will hook over 650-750rwhp with proper suspension that is all that matters.

We've bought 3 sets of radials in radials in the past month, and for whatever reason - didn't have any problem getting them. This was a 275/60/15 though.

Now, when we first ordered them - they were on back order. But they all showed up in about 2 weeks time.

When we got the 325's - they were here in 2 days.

True.... why are all the TS cars running them.

From what I have gathered very few streetable tires hook better than the 325 tire..... It also looks pimp

radials hook well if you have the right setup and a lighter car but not as well as a soft wall tire

Ok.et streets are more forgiving when you have no transfer because of the wrinkle wall. i have had both radials and et streets both are great tires but in his case i think he would be better off with a et street non radial

Old man has the SAME car - with most likely, the same suspension. He switched from ET Streets to ET Radials and picked up 3 tenths or more. Not to mention, I think he has the best 60' in the whole class or close to it - 1.27 I think.

565nova may have done it by now too - and he's gone 5.30's on a much smaller one that dingleberry is talking about getting.

problem is..... ET Streets get eaten up on the street. The Drag radials will last longer. I understand the weight factor... but I am hoping by spring to take over 150-200lbs off the car. The new wheels and tires will cut more than 80lbs just by themselves.

Old Man's car is about 700lbs lighter..... only "real difference" in suspeonsion is he has adjustable shocks/coil springs, travel limiters, and wiheelie bars.

I have a adj bmr torque arm, wolfe adj. lca's, an adj. panhard bar, wolfe anti roll/sway bar, and eibach lowering springs. Stock shocks all around.

It weight transfers like a brick. Doesnt lift a tire whether on a 1.52 60ft with a -3 pinion.

Trt had the car setup with a -13 degree pinion  and I did a 1.48 60ft on a 250shot out the hole with a 6.48@108mph and 630rwhp. It still didnt transfer and rolled out like a brick.

I am sure the added weight of the iron block and trans towards the front of the car doesn't help. I also have the battery still in the front.

Hey, atleast the car doesnt squat! :p

If he had wheelie bars he needs to kick his chassis guy square the fuck in the nuts for putting it on the bumper like that!

Not that I am aware of - they aren't legal for T/S.

He's had bars on that car as often as you've ever had a clue in your life.

I know they aren't legal.... only for ES. but I thought he had em on there one time. I was mistaken. Maybe next year he can put bars on the car and the solid motor and the blower and go for the folks in ES.

Nevermind.... I remember the comment Mark made about the 6 speed inc car with big tires and bars running 80's on motor...... and his reply.

The car has never had wheelie bars on it, ever. I bought a set to put on it after it stood on the bumper the first time but we can not use them in T/S so I sold them, they were never installed.
