It's actually his Dad's car. The average was a 9.104. It was turned way back to keep heat out of the trans -so it only 60'd In the 1.60 range. It has about a half-second left in it!

We ran the quick 8 and took of easy on the car till the last pass. It ran a best (for today) of 9.000!!!:mad:

that sucks for me I think I could have easily rolled with those 9.00's easy. great job though brooks maybe one of these days I will make another fun ford but for now i am laying low until crandall opens.

Congrats, I did not even make it into the Competition. I wanted to test the new clutch before, and ended up snaping a half shaft. Sucks, maybe I will come back next year.

From past history the track is usually slicker than shit. Not this year. Tony just used his prior knowledge and kept the power down till it got rolling alittle then put the pressure to it.

that car has alot left in it.

The part we didn't know about was the fact that they had a bunch of outlaw cars there. Shit, had we known that - we'd have got after it a bit on the launch. The first 100' or so was STICKY!

Raced him in the bracket class and I heard something POP really loud behind me about half track....thought it was my car but was told later it was his.....didn't hurt it did he? Someone said it smoked a little too?

Nothing hurt, just raw fuel hitting the turbine when i got off the throttle and hit the brakes. first time it happened it scared the shit out of me!!
