GALLUP's 'traditional' likely voter model shows Obama with a two-point advantage over McCain on Thursday, 49% to 47%, this is within poll's margin of error...

Barry's worst nightmare. His own party feels like he needs a solid 10 point lead going into the voting booth. This is what happened to him against Hillary, but the clock ran out on her before she could catch him. I'm not ready to call a winner, but it will be close, and fun.
That's not enough to overcome all the people who are going to jump off of the bandwagon when they step into that voting booth.

Did anyone catch the Alfred E. Smith dinner last night? If McCain spoke during the debates like he did last night, he would have this election by a huge margin. He showed his true personality, was halarious, and slid some seriousness inbetween jokes. I highly recommend finding the video of it. He had a room full of democrates laughing so hard they were crying. Obama on the other hand was lackluster, imo. He seemed to stumble thru his speech, and couldn't deliver his punchlines.
Edit: Found it.

He had the place rolling. Among those jokes were some serious digs, too. The fact everyone was laughing so hard, shows how rediculous things are: the press, ACORN, polls, etc. You're right. If folks watched that instead of the debate, it wouldn't even be close.
I think we see why the "messiah" didn't want to do 10 town hall meetings with him.
From the front page of the Drudge Report...
AP/YAHOO POLL: OBAMA 44, MCCAIN 42

So let me get this right, you're basing your VOTE FOR THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES on ability to tell jokes and read a card/teleprompter?
That's reasponsible. God help us, because there are too many people like you.

About as reasponsible as the Obama sheeple who go ga-ga every time their scripted mouthpiece utters the word "change". You got to admit you don't need a card/teleprompter to remember one simple word.

Though you come across as a dumb-ass with such a chickenshit reponse, I'll repond.
Barry has done no different...read teleprompters with prepared responses, right?
Those debates were all horrible formats, with all three "mediators" admittedly being "left-leaners". In a joking fashion, he was able to bring all the rediculous issues out withi9n a few mintes, and I thought it was very effective. We already know where his heart is, because of his long-standing histroy with this country. Unlike "Barry the messiah", McCains life is an open book...

So you are admitting you're racist?
How is that admitting anyone is a racist? SO you are admitting you are closed minded, one sided, and are led by the media???
I know you are an Aggie so....
I was referring to blacks voting for Obama because they/he are black, not referring to the reference that white's are voting for McCain because Obama is black....

If I lived in a swing state I'd probably wait till Nov 4 to vote just so I could keep the talking heads on their toes. Since we live in Texas and we all know McCain is going to win our state I'm doing the early voting.

McCain was great on Letterman, finally. Not as good as Triumph the insult dog was at the debate though. When he humped the Met Man's nose on TV behind Greta Van Susteren's shot I nearly fell off the couch. Then he told Alan Colmes he was worried about seeing all of the liberal media in the spin room instead of up Obama's ass.
