ok so i put together a little budget build last night for the girlfriend- all was good after the build was done i was updating some drivers and setting it up.

well i went to overclock it a little and noticed that the multipliers were as high as they go- so i thought maybe i needed to update my BIOS, so i went and started updating my BIOS and the computer froze and shut down on me. well obviously its not gonna start because the BIOS is corrupted..

so now im lost- is there any hope of recovery? or should i just send the MB back and get another one?

Hmmm...most boards have a way to do a factory reset...maybe just as easy to pull the cmos battery and plop it back on. If that fails, exchange it if you can.

probably- cant click that at work though, but i FINALLY got ahold of someone at uabit and they're sending me one for free... they're harder then anyone ive ever dealt with to get ahold of, but when you do they're fair and easy to work with

Did you move the save/clear pin while the battery was out? Most likely, but just checking.
