I got my dad a Dell pc a few months ago but the internet connection keeps dropping in and out. It works for a few minutes but then the network connection icon on the toolbar says it has limited or no connectivity, then loses it completely (red x), it comes back, etc... The computer is hooked up to the modem/router directly, and the wireless internet from it works flawlessly on my laptop! Yesterday we went and bought a new modem/router but I couldn't get an internet connection out of it after installing it. I'm at work for the rest of the day but I plan on taking another look at it when I get home tonight...Any ideas or tips are appreciated! TIA
