This thing any good to shell out 100 bucks for it? Will I have any trouble connecting to my at&t dsl? Wife won't let me run cords through the house.

It works great but for the same money you could do powerline ethernet.

i use one and no problem at all, even running 2 laptops. I like it since it doesn't need power like the old one did from the regular xbox, plus a clean look

2wire modem? I really don't understand what your problem is? I don't want to start asking dumb questions :o

it does use power, but it pulls it from the usb connection.

I use the standard MS one as well and don't have any problems. Although I think the next time around I'm gonna try to find an off name one or one on ebay or something. They are too expensive for what they really are. Of course, some of what you pay for is the design of it.

Take care,

at&t calls it's modem a 2wire it has 4 ports and is also wireless, but yet i can't figure out how to get the other two ports to open or sense the cable when it is plugged in.

All you should have to do is plug it right up....I had the 2wire with just one ethernet/wireless and I couldn't get it to bridge so I got the new one...This new one with the 4 ports is pre-bridged and works with plug-and-play just fine with the ps3 and xbox 360.
