So can someone explain why the feds keep saving these hopeless or even worse
corupt companys?
I don't mean to sound simple minded but couldn't that money be better
spent fixing this countrys infustructor that would make jobs. It's got to
start somewhere fixing bridges, roads, pipelines and so forth. This would
spread money thru out the country unsteed of giving loans to fat cats
brining in 250K a year to loss money. HELLO!
I understand we must back wall street but hell they got them selfs into this mess
let them go buy a gun and end it.
Oh I do dumb things down like the war in Iraq we are paying for that mess
thank you George. I am not a Duba fan I was but now I just don't know anymore.

I'm sorry, what?
Fat cats making 250k a year? LMFAO!!!!!!!
And I'm not sure what this infustructor character you talk about is. I saw Transformer, but didn't see a bridge that turned into a robot.

let these large banks and insurance companies fail and you will learn about the great depression first hand. i dont like it either but the bottom line is it has to be done. the problem is the laws and regulations are not being enforced . time for some alligator shoes in prison if you ask me . the mortgage problem was created by greedy builders and bankers putting people in homes they could not afford . just as seedy as the credit card industry.

President Franklin D. Roosevelt's "New Deal" attempt at bringing America out of the Great Depression through federal government intervention helped to some degree, but in and of itself was not successful. The latest proposed federal interventions will also likely help, but will not single-handedly turn the current mess around.

I think a fair amount of political correctness played in as well. You had groups of people that were unfinanceable for good reason that pulled the race card.
Clinton also adjusted the Community Reinvestment act that took their race card and made it a race card platinum.

I'll agree that the credit card companies are nothing but whores.
The fall will still come, all the government is doing is putting steps in the way. Instead of the fall being swift, we hit bottom and pick ourselves up, they are dooming us to a long fall down a long staircase.

I hope that the gas tax and 63 dollar registration would cover fixing the bridges and roads.
