Thank God that some Republicans haven't taken leave of their senses...

GW is a traitor to the cause. He has become more and more liberal since his election. He might as well be a Democrat. His Republicratic party is the worse group in power since the founding of the union. The only thing he has gotten right is the war on terror and even points on that are very debatable.

Interesting videos, but I have to say that we have several bail out threads going already.

A mod should merge these threads together. People keep making new threads talking about the exact same issue.

I've always liked Gingrich. I hope he runs in 2012.

What I like best about Newt is that he dumped his wife when she was on her death bed, with cancer. Literally. I think that shows his values in a particularly Conservative light.

John Edwards what?

He's out fucking whores while his wife is dying. I think we can all agree that politicians love pussy and power, and if we were in their situation might have moments of weakness.

And maybe her dying was going to cause his premiums to rise so his decision was strictly economics??

He's reaching back on something from 25 years ago...

"Gingrich walked out on Jackie in the spring of 1980." just to throw mud...Geez Gpamp...

And John Edwards is relevant, how? He vanished. Newt's still actively flapping his yapper. I was responding to someone wanting him to run for office.

What he said is correct though.
John Edwards is just as relevant to the arguement as Newt's dying wife is.

Newt is not running for office...is he? I thought he was just a political analyst etc now.

Shall we reach back to gtampon's personal messiah, Ted Kennedy, since we're all in such a nostalgic mood?

Teddy knows how to handle shit! When he's done with a whore he sends her into the drink. Apparently he plans this around the time he's looking for a new ride also. Whore + Olds Delmont 88 + Chappaquiddick = New car buying experience and clear conscience.

He said the most valuable lesson he learned was next time remove the license plates.

Just making sure we were all on the same page.

Regardless of what gpamp thinks about his character I don't have much problem with what Newty said.

Which Republican's, outside of the President’s administration, support the bailout?

Nate

I guess I side more with republicans on most issues...but I do not support the bailout. I am not sure on who really does outside of wallstreet and Bernanke.

Only when it supports whichever idiotic point you are attempting to make.

I dunno, it sounds more like a Southeastern thing to me ;)

Newt was alway one to make sure money got spent where it should be spent. Like his "laptops for the homeless" :D

"It depends on what the meaning of the word "IS" is."

I want more taxes, more foreign oil, close all federal land including parks to any human activity because humans are evil, open homosexuals in the military, less military with only homosexuals at that, U.S. military under U.N. orders, reduction or elimination of all states rights, open all borders to anyone that wants to come in because we must punish ourselves for having any money at all...
Ya I want to be a Democrat.

The only people I see supporting the bailout are traders on the floor and the people who have to explain the state of the economy to the rest of America.

Instant gratification.

Makes me sick.

What does any of that have to do with the bail-out? You didn't post an opposition to his stance, so I take it that you agree with him... nice.

Welcome back Denny. Been missing your observations.

I don't like Newt's postions often but I quoted him in a different bailout thread. I like his way of speaking to the heart of the matter. I agree with most everything he says here in parts 2 and 3.

That clearly has a profound effect upon his ability to analyze the government's role in the financial markets. Good job buddy!

Finally, you have graced us with a post that is irrefutably true, at least the first two words of it anyway. "I'm sorry" is right on target in reference to yourself.

A refreshing change from your normal lead-in of "I heard.....".

I'm trying to treat him like an adult like I would anyone else until they hurl childish insults and reach wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy to far for points...wait...nevermind.
