Why not obama?

The answer is clear. Why vote Barack Obama? Why not? Have you heard him speak? How many of you are racist, calling him names behind his back. How many of you hate Obama because you think he is Muslim. How foolish you are. What does it matter? You know very little of what you speak. There is a line from school you are taught. Treat others as you wanted to be treated. Meaning be good. This idea did not originate from the bible, nay it was birthed from the holy Koran. Check the text it is there.

You don’t want to vote Obama. What is wrong with you?

Imagine I hated you because you are white, and Christian and I wanted nothing to do with you. I didn’t care what you wanted or how you felt then I decide to kill you based on it. Besides isn’t it the Christian thing to do, to love your neighbor, to do the right thing. Helping others helps you.

You can still register to vote, and even get a mail in ballot so you do not even have to leave your house to vote.

How many of you complain about Bush, but didn’t even vote. It’s your fault you know. Without voters, your right nothing changes. You think your vote doesn’t matter. If you think that way, get out of the country. Go to China, they will tell you what to do; maybe you will like it better there.

If McCain becomes president, I would rather jump of a bridge. I’m sick of people doing the wrong thing just to do it. I’m sick of compromise; there is a difference between compromise and surrender.

When FDR became president, the situation was like it is now. When Lincoln became president, a lot of people believed he was the wrong man for the job.

McCain doesn’t just mean four more years of the same, it means progress into the negativity we have already been dealt. It means surrendering to fear and ignorance. Give me liberty or give me death, nay give me a president I can be proud of.

People talk about McCain’s war record, throw it out the window. Don’t even consider it. What does fighting in a war have to with signing bills that shape the future? A philosophy major, with some work in economics, and a course in the humanities has a better aim than a bullet. Sure lets respect his war record.

George Bush did one good thing during his presidency. He showed us what a president is not supposed to do. This country, the people have become too cynical because of neglect and hard times, all that fell from us from the top. We laugh at everything, taking nothing seriously, because an emotional or intelligent investment means going mad when things do not work out the way they were intended. You must remember, all that matters is the future, and without dreamers the world is a solemn loop of consistent let down and boringness.

Take a chance, not just on a different candidate, but on yourself. Challenge yourself, look deep within and justify your actions and thoughts. Are you the person you wanted to be when you grew up? It might be too late for you, but you can shape this country into a better place for the youth, and afford them opportunities you never had. And, if not for your own children, for the hope that someday things will be better.

This has been a great year in American history, and you can be part of it. Michael Phelps won more Olympics medals than anyone in history and it happened this year, and he is American. Kobe Bryant, and Lebron James gained gold medals in basketball, as the redeem team. Jason Lezack, a man written off in the Olympics, made history and won medals, some thought he never would, not only making history for himself, but for America, but also as part of Phelps journey.

I heard someone saying "I hate how people suddenly care about swimming because of Michael Phelps. When they didn’t care before."

That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard before in my life. Who cares how it happened that you cared or got involved, what matters is that you did. I think that person was jealous. Probably a frustrated swimmer.

This is a year for great change and possibility. Of miraculous things happening. And, Obama can be president.

If you don’t believe in miracles, or doing the right thing. Your cynical and do not believe in good dreams or hope. I very seriously doubt your merit and worth as a human being. In fact I’m curious as to why you are still how alive, and you should consider yourself lucky. Those things are the very foundations of our society. If you have been beaten down, and that is the reason you feel that way, now is your chance. Go make history.

In November I go to vote, I'm voting for Barack Obama. I am not some ignorant liberal know nothing. I know both the policies of John McCain and Barack Obama very well. Being part of a political party doesn’t mean adhering to the injustices of a group of select individuals. You own the party; the party does not own you.

Your damn right I’m angry, I watched my hometown be progressively destroyed for eight years, and I watched people I know and love suffer or move away. I look at people barely making it now, and they are working hard as hell. No person should have to fight that hard in the world or make life altering decisions to be happy for a brief time. I have seen the greatest of dreamers and hopers become reproachable and discontent.

I don’t know if it is the hormones in our food. The electromagnetic fields in our televisions, computers, cell phones, or microwaves. I don’t know if it is because you didn’t get the opportunity you worked so hard for, but I know that changing for the better is the only way to being repairing a problem.

We are a country, that is in denial, anger, bargaining, and depression. All that’s left is acceptance, for these are the steps. Its over. You can breathe easy; all you have to do is get your breakfast and wait in a line which moves quicker than any other. Faster than the DMV or the bank. All you have to do is check Obama, and you can go to sleep sound, knowing at least you tried, and that is acceptance. What is there to be afraid of?

John McCain voted with Bush 90% of the time. That is a fact. You can look it up.

John McCain's wife stole from the charity she worked for to support her addiction. That is a fact.

John McCain's running mate, Sarah Palin, is under indictment for corruption, and has only been a governor for two years. It is a fact, you can look it up.

John McCain's campaign attacks Obama for things that are irrelevant to his campaign for presidency. Just turn on the TV. This is done to distract the average person from the fact that John McCain intends on continuing the policies of President Bush. It’s a fact, look it up.

John McCain received money from big oil companies, and continues too. It is a fact, you can look it up.

Barack Obama worked his way up from the bottom. He is black and has a funny name.

Barack Obama's policies are methodical, thought out, and realistic goals under the new congress.

Barack Obama has a degree in political science, obtained just for working in politics. John McCain didn’t finish college.

Barack Obama's running mate, Joe Biden, created a bill which now allows help to be given to battered women in abusive situations.

Al Gore, NOBEL PEACE PRIZE WINNER, supports Barack Obama.

Despite his morals to some people, Bill Clinton, was still one of the best presidents we ever had in the occupation. He supports Barack Obama.

Hillary Clinton, Bill's wife, a very effective senator, who ran beside Obama, supports Barack Obama.

Ted Kennedy, the reason poor kids can get grants to go to college. Brother to JFK and RFK. One of the most effective senators ever, supports Barack Obama.

So here is my question. We are surrounded with some of the most important people in the history of America. People that are decorated and recognized, so many that it is reminiscent of the four fathers who created this nation. All these great historical people are all in favor of Obama. They know better than anyone else. Name one person, as decorated, as talented, that has spoken in favor of McCain, outside of the worst president in history. Someone that has half as many credentials as these brave men and women. Name some one who you look up to, and will be remembered for the rest of this nation’s future.

Say what you will about Bill and Hilary, they stayed together. Could you?

Say what you want about Ted, it never stopped him from getting great bills passed.

Say what you will about Gore, but where is your Nobel Peace Prize.

Why not vote Obama?

Before I go I want to make one more point. The rest of the world watched as we impeached Clinton for a personal matter. Then Bush lied to us about Iraq, and we didn’t even make the attempt. To the rest of the world perhaps it appears that we were in favor of it, because despite a lot of complaints the neglect was un precedent.

Obama would make a better in between president than McCain.

As for liberalism. This country was founded by liberals who took there ideas from French philosophers. So before you decide to run your mouth about liberals you consider the idea that you mock the very people that died for you in the birth of this union. Consider that change is the essence of the constitution. With all its amendments, not staying the same, or choosing to sit in one place. Which is the ideology of the Republican Party.

The basis of life is the ability to adapt, and acceptance is its opposite. Break fear, as FDR said “There is nothing to fear, but fear itself.”

Anyone voting for Palin, just because she is a woman, is a fool.

Go vote, register, vote at home, do something, make this country livable and happy.

Any article that starts off assuming the reader is racist based on whatever (in this case color AND religion), already prevents any counters to anything later in the article because it'll all come back to the conclusion that you're racist.

LMAO... I love his reasons to vote... he changed my mind. Im gonna vote for Obama now because:

He is black and has a goofy name.

Because Obama is getting attacked by McCain...I feel bad for the poor negro still getting oppressed

Because Obama has a PS degree...so do my friends...and they cant get jobs, hopefully Obama will help them.

Because Biden supports helping battered women...he must be the only person in this world who does...automatically gets my vote

Because our former president adultress and great role model for how to lie in court, supports him.

Geez...why would I NOT vote for Obama
