it might have been a side effect of her healing factor going into overdrive against brainiac. although there are speculations that since clark isnt human that she just cant simply heal him. it would explain why martian manhunter intervened.

I've watched SV from the very beginning, the last two seasons have been disappointing at best. I wasn't impressed with the season opener either. Sucks, cause it used to kick ass.

Heroes is way a better show, on a similar concept.

If they would just make him fly already it would open all kinds of new doors...

thats the plan so far. i dont see how they could stretch this out for another season. shit they have the legion of super heroes, doomsday, maxima, and rumors of introducing darkseid towards the end.

well doomsday is a mid season arc to end season. the whole darkseid being brought in is just a rumor so far. i dont think it would work out with two seasons soley based on just doomsday. technically it wont be the doomsday that killed superman. just the beginnings of what will lead up to him. i dont see how they could do a whole season on darkseid....i dont think its possible.

shit, that just put lois on clack on the backburner. they end her character in the next 4 episodes. shes contracted to that.

I stopped watching this about 3 years ago. :( I've missed a lot. Used to love watching it but couldn't. I must torrent the seasons.

well martian manhunter will get his poweres back, the legion of superheroes is scheduled for next year. if anyone caught the last few seconds of the midseason cliffhanger, speculations are that Lex is back. I on the other hand think that that is Braniac, from the comics; the bald headed version. plus doomsday is set up for mid to end season arc with the legion of doom vs the JLA-the noobs.

well my speculations were half right. smallville is back for season 9. bruno manheim is going to lead with dark seed and intergang. the last two epsiodes are injustice and doomsday. had this been the last season they would have ended the series on a fanboys wishes. since its not theyre linin up with the DC universe mythos. Beast sucked imo, and injustice gives us a more insight on the orb that controls the traveler. i hate the retcon they did with the sageeth and naman storyline. total bs but it makes sense since braniac did go back in time with kara to krypton. he made it possible for doomsday to arrive at the same time as clark did to earth. so the last two seasons have been a time warp. i cant wait for the finale and next years into leading to Dark Seed!!
