Since it's getting late in the month to do this I want to go ahead and plan one for next month. Post up your opinions on a date and range. Either Saturday or Sunday work for me. I'm thinking towards the middle of next month. Also post up what range you guys want to hit up. The Collin County Gun Range is nice but a bit of a drive. I'll still hit it up if that's what most people want to go.
I'd like to spend some quality time with my rifle and get it sighted in. Last time I was able to get it on the paper in about 4" groups. The rifle is capable of sub .25 groups, I just don't know if I am.. :) But I'd like to try!
So, that alone puts winchester out of my list. Any other one is fine. Hooters afterwards is a requirement.

hehe... Winchester will be a no go automatically. Anywhere new we can try?
So have we come up with a date yet? How about Saturday the 18th at the DFW Gunrange on 35/Mockingbird?
Just wanted to see if this worked for anyone.

The closer to downtown, the better. Lunch after would be cool so the earlier the better!
I haven't fired my gat in almost a month. Need to practice.

Can't think of a closer range to downtown than the DFW Gun Range. Thinking 10 or 11am?? Hooter's for lunch?
Sounds good, I vote for 10am, then go get some lunch after.

Nice turnout yesterday morning although it was real early for me (I normally don't get up until at least 9-10am) ;) Well worth it. Catch you guys next month.
Just wanted to say that I had a great time, and got to work out some frustrations on that target:D
Also wanted to say thanks to Robert, Jerry, and Jose for some quick parking lot tips on the 'Stang.

Man, the ammo up there was a little pricey. Going to have to stock up for next time. I'll have to hit up both of you guys next time to try out that H&K and that ported Taurus 945 ;) I'll bring a box of ammo for it.

Next time well make a run out to cheaper than dirt first:D , hell I don't mind somebody trying to make a profit, but don't try to make it ALL off of me in one box;)
Maybe next time I can AFFORD some rounds for the Glock...LOL

Defintely need to stock up on ammo and I'm checking on "bulk" pricing of both .40 and .45 because I plan on shooting more over the next few months ;)
Larry, you say you work Sunday's? I was planning on doing the next "Drive By" on a Sunday so my buddy EW can go.

I work Sun night, so we can still do it at 10, then I can get a power nap in.
