Anybody else catch it? It was pretty interesting!
I like how with the first few commercials they said "Fringe will return in 60 seconds".
The chick is pretty hot and Pacey does a decent job and is pretty funny. Some of the stuff is a little ridiculous but then some of it is pretty thought-provoking.
It's kinda like X-Files but with less aliens/supernatural stuff and more science/technology.

They were on at different times. I watched both.
The Shield was good, but I hate that it was so long between seasons. I was having a tough time remembering all the details of all the different story lines. I fucked up and missed the first episode of the new season last week too.

I've got it on DVR. You could come watch it, but you'll need your glasses to see it. My tv is half the size of yours, asshole.
Yeah, it was a long time between seasons. Thank the writer's strike. FX is really good about re airing the entire previous season on Saturday nights, leading up to the new season premiere.

Just watched it. I wanted to like it, but found myself getting bored at parts. It just seemed as if parts of the show really dragged. I'll watch it a couple more times and decide on whether or not I want to keep viewing it. One thing that immediately turned me off was that guy from Boston Legal.

Ahhh, the douche. I almost forgot about him. He hasn't been on Boston Legal for the last season or two.
The douche is dead now. But I think he may be back in the future.
The show seems ok. It feels like they had to cram too much into the pilot episode to make it flow well. To me it seemed like it was supposed to be 2 hours and they cut it down to 90 minutes.
Anyway, I'm still undecided on this one.

wtf is with the giant microsoft word art. ex: BOSTON COLLEGE. cheesy shit like that bothers me a lot.

The first episode started off a bit slow but by about 20 minutes in it had my interest. Second was decent. I doubt it will be my favorite new show of the season but definitely watchable.
I can't wait for next week when the NBC shows start up again.

I liked it alot!! I messed up the DVR some how and only got the second half last night. The premier was really good though.

I watched it after House and enjoyed it. I'll be recording it for sure. It's kind of like an X-file/CSI mix.
I thought it was pretty good, on the whole. I just watched the pilot on Hulu, and if they can get that little blond girl to eat a little more, and quit forcing a pensive look, I think they'll get a lot more mileage out of her. The cool thing about the subject matter is, it's almost impossible to jump the shark, as it were. I am a little worried about J. J. Abrams abusing the Deus Ex Machina plot device, 'cause his writing is kind of on the weak side.

Really? I thought they were going to have one more. I'm kinda disappointed. I got bored with the characters a few shows back and it feels like they're trying way too hard to come up with crazy shit and twisted storylines to make up for boring interactions between the main characters. Pacey needs to start at least trying to bone Olivia. They don't even flirt. We need to find out his story - is he genetically designed by ol' pops? What's with the assistant chick? Maybe Pacey should go ahead and just hit that instead.
And what's with the same foot chase scene in every episode, like clockwork?
I still want to like this show, but I may lose all interest before they start back up with new episodes.

I'm getting quite bored with it. I have tried watching the episode with the killer butterflies (lame as hell, by the way) 5 times and have fallen asleep within twenty minutes each time.
