7.62x39 Ammunition Bulk Buy

Where do you guys go to get your 7.62x39 ammunition?

Do gun shows carry it at a good price? I am really wanting to go twosies on a 1k purchase for $199 and split the price with someone else. I really cant plop 200 down but I think I could justify 99.50 for 500 rnds...I dont shoot too much also.

I dont know what 7.62x39 is going for as I have no gun that shoots it.

But generally for prices, look online. Take that price subtract the shipping and maybe $10 or so dollars. May find better better deals if someone has a lot they really need to get rid of or private seller unloading a stash.

The gun shows here in WF suck as far as ammo prices go, actually higher than just buying at Walmart.

Try www.wideners.com and www.classicarms.us. Both of those companys will be very hard if not impossible to beat on prices for mail order ammo. Also try www.natchezss.com, they run some sales every now and then.

Yeah, I saw their price and was happy, but then saw $22/sh which I wasn't really wanting. I wish there was a place I could buy bulk at a good price and pick it up

Wideners is where I want to buy from, but only if someone goes in on it with me. I think I am going to post in the classifieds to see if there is interest. $87.50 for 500 plus S/H isn't that bad of a deal I think...
