Well I finished the Kitchen so I started the kids bath. It had crappy tile that had been painted and a bad leaky valve. I removed everything but the tub. Added a few studs for more suport for heavier tiles

For the tile I am using granite 12x12s. Plus an accent tile to form a ban to run around the three walls. Here is how it looks now.All tile is done, just have to grout and seal.

I personally would use a different natural stone. A nice travertine would look awesome, but different strokes for different folks. Its your bathroom so if you like granite go with that.

I really like travertine too. This bath will be used by my daughter and her kids. She picked out the granite. When I do my master, I will use travertine.

I like the first choice out of the 3.

I think the colors may be to dark for the small space. Remember about how much cleaning has to be done in that area. Any tile that is not close to flush all around on finish level will collect soap scum and dirt. Through body porcelain will get you similar look to granite, will be slightly harder, and will not require sealing.

I got alot done today. I went with the 1st tile design. Thats the design I made up when I bought all the tile a few weeks ago.
