does anyone have one of these? How do you like it! how long have you had it and have you had any issues? Looking at possibly buying one.

My dad had one for years. Its a good gun; i wouldn't recommend it for conceal carry.

i know what you mean it is pretty big for carry! I really want to shoot one to see if i like it or not before i buy it. I'm also looking at the 24-7 45, the little one with the extended clip. That is probably what i'll end up getting, but the pt92 is just real comfortable.

I had a PT92 back in the early 90's that I bought from a co-worker. Great gun and bang for buck compared to the Beretta. I owned it for about 5 years and never had a problem with it. I actually preferred it to the Beretta because it had the ability to lock the hammer back ala the 1911 or dropped safely. I wouldn't care to carry it concealed, just a little to heavy IMO for every day use but would be a perfect house gun with 15+1 rounds.
Side note, I've owned two other Taurus's; a PT908 which was a single stack compact 9mm and currently an M85 ported barrel .38 Special. The PT908 I didn't care to much for. To many sharp edges that dug into my side when I carried it concealed and hated CCI aluminum case ammo (it tended to stove pipe every few rounds). The M85 is... well... bullet proof as any revolver should be :D

if your in the Plano area, go to the Bullet Trap. They have one you can test shoot. As well as 40-50 other guns you can shoot
