I have Lee stuff. It's affordable and works.

General rules of reloading:
Establish good habits/techniques that are safe and consistent.
Keep it clean,
keep it lubed,
keep it adjusted,
keep it loaded.

A single stage is about 90$ with scale, powder drop, etc.

Buy powder, primers local. Bullets and brass local too. You may find brass on ground at some ranges.

Keep an eye on their website, they have a blem section. I picked up the anniversary kit with the book for $35. I looked at it, there was a place on the press where the paint was all bubbly and peeling, that was it. I traded it for a red dot, so I don't know if anything else was wrong but they guarantee them for functionality.
