No indoor ranges in Denton I know of.
There's a private range and then some outdoor range in Sanger. That's about it.

I have an officemate who lives in Denton that I was gonna take shooting. Dammit. I guess we'll have to go to the west or east side of Fort Worth.

Isnt there some huge ass indoor range opening in the N. Ft. Worth area soon, if not already open?

You're thinking of Tactical Edge (170 & 377 area)...the guy that was heading that up was charged with the murder of his brother...I don't see this one opening anytime soon unless a group of investors decide to pick it up...in fact, I don't think ground had even been broken on the building...

also,
I had no idea it was there, but Quail Creek is on the west side of 35W at FM 1171. Go past the cement plant and turn right...you may be better off taking a truck...
it's an outdoor range though...
Bass Pro in Grapevine still has an indoor range don't they?

Yeah, I knew the guy involved in the startup was in trouble for murdering someone.
I also thought the building of it was much further along ie: already built and plans were still calling for its opening.

I don't think it was, I'll have to do some searching later tonight to see if I can still find the website...

Denton used to have an outdoor range near the airport, there is also a outdoor range near the Dragstrip in Denton (might be leo only)

They use to have a pistol range but I heard there was a fire started from a hot shell, and they shut down the pistol range.

That was three years ago, I will guarantee the pistol range is open. I was there saturday.

Couldn't find the Tactical Edge website, but here is the gunsmith that is now in the area...I don't think they have a range, though...

Here's a thread from TexasCHLForum.com that talks about Tactical Edge...
