A couple years back i had my rear sets powder coated and ever since i have had trouble with my linkage bar going from the shifter lever to the gear box coming off on one end causing me to have to stop and screw it back in. Well tonight sometime coming home on the highway it came loose on both ends and I ended up losing it somewhere on the highway. I was able to pull over and get it into second with my hands and thats how i rode home. Has anyone else ever had troubles with theirs? Now my question is..does anyone know the correct term for this "linkage bar" and where would be a good place to get one? If anyone has ordered any aftermarket rear sets and is willing to sell it let me know. I am scared to call the dealership and find out how much they will charge me for a 50 cent metal rod threaded on both ends.....any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks alot....

yea mine actually did that a few months ago....kept having to push down further and further to downshit lol...it was messing wtih my mind. But i just took a pair of vice grips and tightened the shit out of it...no problems since
But a set of nuts would be a good idea to make sure they dont back out again
