Who stocks pumps in DFW? Home Depot only has Watts brand that is for retrofit systems. My home has a dedicated recirculation line and my pump connects with 1.25 union fittings. It died last night or may be locked up. Either way I would like to have a standby replacement on hand.
BIG difference with no recirculator running.

I would like to know also.
How long has your pump lasted? I built my house 2.5 years ago and am wondering what the life might be on the pump.

only about 5 mos LOL. Or thats how long it lasted since we bought the place. I need to see if I can make out a date of manufacture on it to see how old it is. Cant be too old and the home was vacant for a year before we purchased it.
Pump is a Bell and Gossett, would like to find another one or Grundfos or Taco brand equivalent.

Is your water heater gas or electric? The reason I ask is I have a friend that has a hot water circulator and his electric bills were a little over $400 a month. I told him to turn it off, and his electric bill hasn't been over $260 since doing so.

its electric and my bills havnet been unusally high. When I find a replacement pump am going back with a timer and t-stat. In fact, am going to put my water heater on a timer as well.
