Midway USA has Essex frames with built in light rail in blue for 109 bux. Damn good deal! I'm thinking about picking one up for a project build.
Sweet. I got a Storm Lake drop-in match barrel for my Commander, and it's everything that was advertised. I also got a Dwyer's Group Gripper, and that thing is fucking sweet. I come back on target stupid fast now. Good luck, bro!

Its either get one of those frames and build something or put my Springfield back to a defense role. I never shoot it since putting a red dot on it. I don't really care for 1911's with rails but you can't beat that price!
Do they have one without a rail? I think quite a few folks sell matched frames and slides pretty cheap. If I build one, it'll be on a Wilson Combat matched set, Commander length again. I wish I could afford their completed guns. I freely admit to swinging from their nuts.

*I'm going to build an AR or two, also, and get an M1A, and a rifle in .300 Win. Mag. or Remington UltraMag, as soon as the fundage is there. :o
