From what I've read this is a nice little firearm, would you consider this weapon for your wife. My .40Cal is a bit much for her, so after researching I believe the Walther would be a good choice to get her going.
Anyone have one for sale, just let me know

thanks

Use the search feature, as this particular firearm has been discussed extensively here.

That said, there's no way in hell I would send my wife out the door with only a long rifle as protection, as based on the verbage of your question I would assume this is to be a carry item? Have you looked into a .38 wheelgun?

I've got a nice Sig .22 Mosquito, but it's not for sale.

A .22 can kill, but if you want her to have stopping power, then it's not a viable option.

What is the gun for? protection or simply for her to plink at the range? If range yes. If for protection Hell NO. Maybe a P99, but I would not trust a 22 for self defense.

I have one I don't shoot anymore. I was keeping it around for when I bring first timer chicks to the range. It's a good plinker. Not for self/home defense though. $250 is what I would list it for.

For defensive purposes, she ought to be able to handle a compact or subcompact 9mm. For a first gun, heck yeah.

Good advice, I was thinking the Walther for a little of both..range/protection but I'm starting to lean towards a 9mm, just makes me feel better.
Thanks guys
