Wow, I thought it was hot before and I expected it to be hot but gezzz. it isnt bad as long as you are going 30mph or faster. I figured before the corners in arkansas I might want to cover more skin up.

It is an alpine stars two piece with a full circumference zipper, Seems like it would work great in a crash, pretty comfortable to wear as well.

I think I am going to hit up a track day before too long..

Found it here local from a guy, walked away for 350 cash.. pants and jacket are both in very nice shape..

First time I go down with this bike they will pay for themselves easily.

you can just get the pants if you want, alot of the leather riding pants come with the waist zipper so when you are ready or just want to get the jacket you can do so.

I thought we were not going to go crazy on this trip? Now you're buying full leathers?

You will be able to get on a track without leathers or leather pants if you do one through lone star track days, but I wouldn't do it.

The Gear

* Full face DOT/Snell approved helmet not older than 5 years (a flip-up helmet is not a full-face helmet).
* Leather/motorcycle boots that extend above the ankle.
* Full-finger motorcycle gloves, preferably extending past the wrist.
* Advanced Group must have one piece or two piece leathers (it is recommended that 2 piece leathers zip together in some form).
* Intermediate/B and Riders School/C Groups may use full leathers, OR, one/two piece Cordura or synthetic/heavy duty nylon riding suits (lightweight mesh suites are not appropriate).
* Back protector highly recommended

Ride smart track days require leathers, but they rent them if you don't have them.

Nah not going crazy on this trip but if you are hitting corners @ any speed it is usually wise to gear up..If I ever have to use them they will pay for themselves immediately.

As stated before please ride your comfort level, if me and mark get out ahead we will slow up, we cant keep a fast pace on those kind of roads for long.
