Look what I picked up recently (Preban colt gov't carbine)

What an odd ball carbine I found recently. A1 lower, A2 rear sight, bayo lug all in the OG Green label box ;) Serial number is in the 1XXX range, no ejection marks, no flaws on finish.
Colt packing/assmebly greece still found on bolt catch handle, pins thru lower, So im not sure its its ever been fired. Anyway, enjoy the pics i snaped real quick of it.

Doesnt have the finish like most of the 2 positions stocks Ive seen, just curious.

You could probably get $1500 for it if somone really wanted it. Certain people go apeshit of early Colt guns especially when they have govt slang on them.

Back when there was the AWB of 1994. These guns were pretty much the only ones o the market one could buy and still keep evil features.

The preban name just stuck around.

Some states no have banned our beloved black rifles. CT ( i beleive, dont quote me) residents can use the preban lower to build up what they still want, otherwise its pounding sand.
