My boss bought a Rock River AR-15, and it's pretty much bone stock, and he's wanting to go tactical with it. He's having me find some stores in the area (basically from Sherman to Dallas) that deals in tactical accessories, such as sights, lights, scopes, lasers, grips, bipods, mags, so on and so forth.

Anybody know of any place that would be able to help?

I would tell him to go on AR15.com and figure out basically what he wants to accomplish. I have a fully loaded M4 and did a lot of research before buying my accessories. Walking into a gun store without any idea of what you are wanting can leave him pretty frustrated if he buys a bunch of stuff he later regrets cause he did not do some research. I am really picky about how my firearms are modified.
