I've been looking around and I like the look and sturdiness of the R&G but DAMN! they are high dollar... anyone know of some where to get them cheaper.. or a good set of no-cut sliders for the '08 600RR that are good?

take a look at these. they slide very well. they did not break and did their job brilliantly on a 50-55 lowside. i bought another pair to replace them without any second thoughts.

i don't know about that bike specifically, but if it doesn't mount to the frame/engine mount bolts or something else SOLID, then i wouldn't pay a dime for them. they'll just snap off and won't do you any good. if you have half a brain and a little bit of common sense you can drill the fairings and it'll look fine and protect things as good as you're gonna get. i've "tested" my vortex ones quite a few time without problems. and i would avoid any aluminum ones, no matter what brand they are.

I found a set of the R&G frame sliders brand new from a guy for 160 so I am going to go ahead and spend the change to get those.. thats a good price for them and from what I can tell they are probably some of the best non-cut sliders out there

my buddy dropped his f4i like 6 times last weekend at the parking lot and only has a pair of good solid sliders... didn't break a damn thing.

6 times  He might want to consider another hobby. I understand needle-point is making a comeback. ;)

F.I. Cages FTW!!!
never trusted them till i went down pretty good on the highway
they saved the entire bike that day...and numerous times in the lot

LOL! I hear about those the most when people complain about breaking cases and shearing off motor mounts/bolts

yea if I were a stunter I would get a cage for sure.. but I'd look like a huge squid rolling around on a stock bike with a cage haha

I used Shogun sliders. They are longer than most, and definitely get the no-cut variant. I had them on my old R6 and it saved every bit of it other than the stator cover. It didnt scratch the tank, upper, mid, or even touch the bars
