you don't want to finance using a credit card of any type. this shows you to be utilizing most of your credit line which will drop your score and show you to be irresponsible in managing your spending habits. an installment loan is a much better choice..btw you will need very good credit to get a decent rate.

It's pretty tough to get approved, especially nowadays with the way the economy is. The banks have tightened up alot in the past year. If you want a Kawasaki (and I am sure everyone does) you can go to our site www.kawasakiofcarrollton.com
and fill out the credit application.
Or if you want, send me a pm letting me know what kind of credit you have and I can telly you your chances before you fill out the app.

if you are a memeber of a credit union try to get a loan through there, you will get a much better rate. dealers, from what i've seen, charge ridiculously high interest rates.

The bank that handles my interim loans on my houses, really took care of me. I was VERY impressed. The branch manager/VP gave me a 7% flat-rate, with nothing down. Since my bike wasn't brand new, I thought that was damn good.

630 should be good enough to get something new up to about 10k
I talked to the finance guy at Honda Suzuki North.(scott I think or steve or something like that).. when I bought mine... he was telling me that 620 or higher and he can almost always get you approved

sorry for jacking the thread, but obviously you guys have done this before, so:
would a bank require you to get full insurance on the bike or do they give a sh*t as long as you pay them?

When we bought my gf's GSXR600 a few weekends ago we couldn't drive it off the lot w/o having at least some kind of insurance.
And lmao at the "if you want a kawi because everyone does". Down with Ninja's and up with Gixxers.

Those dealer credit cards can be a nasty trap - they look great initially but if you fall behind or are late with payments the friendly interest rate will suddenly skyrocket to something crazy like 24% compounding hourly. I took out a Suzuki Rev Card or something like that years ago to finance a kid's 50 and paid it off the next month.
Kept the card around and used it again 2 years later to do the same with a kid's 80.
After that I cut it up.
As others have already wisely mentioned, a credit union or bank will be a much safer bet in the long run. Best of luck.

I got mine thruogh a local bank that I have a great history with. Finaced 6100 of the 7100 and the rate was somthing under 6%. It was way better than the kawi offer. I do have a score at about 730 so probally helped. They did not require full coverage. As said try everything you can before going with a card offer. Try to find a credit union or a no-national bank where they make the decisions in house.
good luck
