anyone up for volleyball ?? [Archive]

If the weather hangs with us , a couple of
us are getting togather to play volleyball.
There are like 6 sand courts & $1.50 long necks!!!!!
We are going to get there around 8:30p.m.
It's @ the Lone Star club, were Belt Line & Belt Line
meet up in Coppell. It's a not a great place but drink
specials & volleyball should be fun !!!!!!!!!!

Hey Jeremy.... That about 3 miles north of the beltline exit in Coppell. There's a NAPA store on the s/e corner. Go across the street and Beltline and it turns into Denton Tap. Make a left and it turns into southwestern or something! :eek: Crazy area...

Don't know where the Lone Star Club is out there tho'. :confused:

It right across from the "Yucatan club"/bar whatever..

It about 1-2 miles WEST of I35/beltline intersection..

I'm not even sure if it's actually going on. But I do like to play volleyball. I imagine it was a combination of the two. =)

I was just curious, I have played there afew times before. I love to play but I can't stand to play drunk ball aka jungle ball. I would like to go an play w/someone who actually knows how to play.

TT sent me some email about a tournament there this weekend i think.........and it is a champagne tournament- you have to be drunk to play......i don't have the details though- i deleted it on accident!

Couldnt agree more. No lifting or double hits allowed...oh and lets try and get three touches..its volleyball..not ping-pong.

If ya get a team goin' lemme know if ya can tolerate an old and slow footed outside hitter/defensive specialist. ;)

Shiiiiit... Come out an play and you wont be slow footed for very long ;)

I know I am too but it all comes back to you once you get afew volleys under your belt. Maybe this Sunday?

My best friend plays for on a 6-man team at Lone Star on Wednesday nights...He and I play 2-man and are looking into entering some tournaments this summer. If anybody ever wants to play im sure he and I will be up for playing. We also play at Jack's Pub and Grill sometimes. Just depends on what night it is and how many people are at each place. Let me know if you would like two more people to join you and play sometime.

No I wasnt. I havent been there on any Wednesday yet because I am here at school in Austin...I am sometimes there on the weekend. Starting May 12th though I will probably be up there on Wednesday's or maybe some other day.

We should get some people together to play some volleyball. I like to play but I also like to play with people who know and play by the majority of the rules because drunk volleyball just gets old and ping-pong volleyball makes it no fun!

I would be up for getting a group together to meet up and play!
