Ok so i have the chance to buy a 60 gig ps3 for 250 with 2 controls and army of two game only thing wrong is its missing the faceplate that covers the usb ports and media card ports, what are the main differences between this and the 80 gig and why was it pulled off shelves?

Buy it that is a killer deal right there.It was pulled off shelves due to marketing strategy not problems only difference is 20 gb.

it's worth it. the 60 gig ps3 is fully backward compatibile with all ps2 games. it's probably the best one to get.
if you want more HD space you can always upgrade later, it's extremely easy on the ps3. it's just a SATA laptop hard drive.

yup the 60gb unit uses the emotion engine for the best ps2 backwards compatibility.
the only thing the 60gb unit lacks is the new 60nm chip so it will run a few degrees hotter.

everyone wants the 60gb ps3...that's the one that's the most sought after because of the backwards compatibility. You can always upgrade to any bigger 2.5 hdd later if you want.

I know what cover goes over the media card ports...but I dont think there is a cover for the 4 USB ports on the bottom front panel (mine doesn't have a cover for the USB). 250 is a fucking retarded good deal and you better snatch that in a hurry. I gave 300 for mine 3 months ago and mine was a smoking good deal at 300 bucks.
