Windows on PS3??

has anyone here installed any other OS on their PS3?? i read it was possible the other day, just dont know of anyone whos done it.

Don't know about windows, I know you can put Linux and such on it.

im completely ignorant about linux.. and from what ive read if you dont know much about it its not a good idea to use it

I have linux installed on mine, can't say I use it much, but it's there.

You can use whatever OS you want with an emulator running within Linux. Why though? I mean I can install Linux on my Ipod or hell even my cell phone but what's the purpose?
