I just bought a 2001 GSXR 1000. I used to ride a 2002 gsxr 750. The 1000 just doesent feel any faster than my old 750. The title and vin #'s match to the 1000, but how can I tell if it is really a 1000 motor?

case or cyl head should have some kind of displacement cast into it. 998cc or something like that.

gixxer forum is right 3000ml will be a 1000cc, 2800ml will be a 750cc and I belive 2600ml will be a 600cc.

get it over 100mph then you might tell the difference :D
