I hope this is indeed a valid story line. If so, this has made my week.

"In New York, we are finding that there is a groundswell of support by Democrats who are fundamentally uncomfortable with Obama and coalescing around John McCain," a spokesman for Mr. McCain, Peter Feldman, said. :D

As a voter of Hillary in the primaries, I think I'm leaning toward McCain too. ;)

I sincerely hope so. Either the race will be extremely close or McCain will have a record setting blowout.

I think that come voting time we'll discover that mccain has a lot more support than what the obama-media is reporting today.

There's a lot of truth to that. 20 years ago yesterday (1988), Dukakis had a 17 point-lead over Bush senior.
Remember 2000, when they were reporting that Gore had won Florida, and the western panhandle hadn't even finished voting because they were in a different time zone?
How about in '04 when every exit poll on CNN and the major networks were showing Kerry as the victor? Only Fox was showinng a Bush lead.
The press cannot be trusted, me friends. Come this election,I wouldn't listen to a damn thing they say until all polls are officially closed.

Yeah, you really tried to screw over us Obama people. But we got the last laugh. Your hillary ticket will never get any electors no matter what you think is going to happen in FL an MI in November!
