SRT 300C vs Ex. Cab chevy N/A [Archive]

I got my money's worth today guys. Had a SRT 300C jump on the pick up truck today. Drove around him, I need a Camera so I can get this guy's face on the Intraweb. Best race yet, I didnt run off from him, but definatley pulled him.

Supposed to take it to RPM to have it dynoed tomorrow. 4-0 with all the new bolt ons w/ roll racing. Any guess to the rwhp #'s.

I've had a 300C SRT8 up and leave me on the highway... Had 4 people in the TB though, so that probably didn't help.

My guess is 401rwhp :)

Just ask Sam how he know's, I think he wants true duals on his truck now. I think he liked the way mine sounded from behind. I know I need a transmision to shift like his, he chirped 2nd gear in my ear drum and it's loud, my slush box isnt gonna last to much longer.

I doubt there will ever be a 4l80 in his truck.The new 6L60 is way to easy to put in.That motor was in great shape.

Its got a cam and a yank converter with a K/N cold air. Havnt sprayed it yet.

Chris and I had a little run at a stop light and his 300 was about a car length in front of me up to about 65 mph which is about what my truck runs in the 1/8th. That thing was pulling from me. He did cut a better light too. :mad:

What is all done to your truck? I read it weighs 5200 lbs and you drug some mustangs?

My truck has no chance running you even when I get it down to 5,000lbs. I'll give you a shout as soon as Bully Dog has the 08's covered. Even then I'm still screwed since there is no chance at a true trac limited slip
being made for the 08s. They said they can't justify the cost since there will be too few units sold. My best tonite was a 10.0x @ 70.50mph
Right around 5360lbs
Same crappy 2.3x 60' times for each run

Thats about what the 4.8 ran at Ennis 10.01@70 and it was dog legged also. The little motor would run alot better if I ever took the "BIG" wheels off of it.

Cant you get in touch with Baron on the board and see about putting a 07 model rear end in it?
