I went outside and my bike got tipped over. :( 1 of 2 things. Someone bumped it. or the kickstand gave. I just have a few scratches on my fairing. ('07 GSXR600) Anybody know of a body shop in the area who can fix this up? Can i take it to like Herbs or is it pretty much a specialty thing?

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks.

if it was just the fairings then i dont think there is anything they can do cause its plastic, u might just have to deal with it unless u wanna buy new stickers which can be pretty expensive

decals aren't that much. if you need new decals or such, flatoutmotorcycles.com has all the cheapest oem parts.

if it's really not that bad, I wouldn't worry about it. my bike, however just had all the plastics destroyed and so I'm ordering all new plastics, which is pretty much all you can do.

One of zosense's neighbors is a body man and has done some pretty good work on some damaged bikes for him. I *think* the guy is retired. He's got a paintbooth set up at his house and does good work for damn reasonable prices.

I've got a couple sets of rashed bodywork I think I'm going to get him to repair for me.

He's in Cedar Hill (just SW of Dallas) and I could get his number if your interested.

Anybody know where I can get a set of NEW OEM fairings for my bike? Should I just go thru my dealer?

Sum of All Parts in Austin always seems to have OEM new in the box stuff available. It's not cheap, but they usually beat the dealer prices. They sell a lot of stuff on ebay too.

They aren't just an ebay drop shipper deal either. They are a brick and mortar store with a big location in Austin. They sponsor road racing in Texas too.
