So I wonder if this guy is taking Trey Capps place? I think he was the operating mananger.
Moose Jr can chime in on this and give us more details.....

Maybe they will advertise the events better with the change?

Trey's been gone for over a year and a half now. My dads been running the races. Actually working more races with a little bit less help. He's been coordinating the weekend races along with working on the track. Trey did not have to work on the track. He had Moose for that! Trey was also not the General Manager, that was Arthur O'bright. Arhtur is now gone.
Anyway, Mr. Menard may or may not stay. I'm not sure what Billy has up his sleeve. In my opinion it is already a good change.

Most likely. I've already proposed something you may or may not like. :p How about Outlaw True Street? Same tires and similar rules as your class but no engine, power adder or weight limits. Moose and I are throwing around a lot of ideas. We want to start running more races at night, especially during the summer. He's thinking about adding a stock tire class to the True Street shootout in August. Basically the samething North Star has started. There's not telling what's going to happen though. We'll just have to wait and see.

That's cool, I think if something was done like that , that just pays a little to cover expenses, you would have more partakers in the events.

That's what we've been thinking! The problem was we never had final say on anything really! Hopefully that's about to change. If you guys have any good ideas, please feel free to share them.

Working 2 jobs at once will wear a 63 year olds ass out too. :p I'm not able to help him as much as I would like. Hell, I wasn't even there that night. I'll be honest. I'd much rather be racing. Fuck working at the track! :D If any of you guys would like to come down and help, let Moose know. Call him or email him at the Motorplex. It pays(not much though) and I'm sure he can hook you up with at least some free TNT. Good help his hard to find. Especially guys who care and are racers too.

The outlaw drag radial could be a good class. Just be sure to limit the suspension types or you'll have a L/S car with some D/R's on it in the finals, you'll get a single race off, and you'll never seen anyone again. Bet on that.
It has promise though!
Edit, I see it says outlaw T/S, not outlaw Drag radial.. much mo' betta.

What would be wrong with running Drag Radials?

I haven't seen Moose in years. I miss seeing him every weekend. I wouldn't mind helping, but don't know what much I could do. Used to be a track brat out there.

Nothing. You would be limited to what they run in the TTT5 true street class. 275/60/15's. Or, 28x11.5x15 dot slick.
If the class ever got the go, there would be rules put in place to attract "true street" type cars. Like no chassis cars, no lexan windows, etc. It would be geared towards cars like those in TTT5 minus the engine, weight and power adder limitations. It would probably be run in the 1/8th since most heads up type cars in this area are built for the 1/8th anyway. Right now it's just an idea being tossed around.

I always thought about helping out but then i wouldnt be able to race when i was out there. My bro in law is in the police academy and always says when the guy you have now retires he would love to be the off duty cop that ya'll hire lol.
Are yall thinking about maybe adding a bracket class to the friday nights? I was going to run the street race in two weeks but yall changed the index classes.. used to be 12.50/13.50/14.50 now its 12, 13, 14 and i cant run class enough for 12 so not sure if ill just try to tree the person or not go at all.
How about adding a bracket class to the event?
