Your right, we had the motor out this morning in an hour, but I am changing both head gaskets and checking the piston out to make sure their is no damage, I have spare ones, and straighten the oil pan out from the BIG wheel stand and also repair the crossmember!! I went and picked up the parts yesterday and am getting ready to put it back together now?

Well upon further and deeper inspection I was wrong, the head gaskets were fine, it cracked the drivers side head in the #3 exhaust port right above the valve seat! It's always something with these things? :(

Have you got anyone to fix the head for you? I've got a shop that can fix it. It's aluminum right?

Hold my beer and watch this !!!!

No, I have a ton of money in these heads, and to fix the heads in the way of welding them would be very expensive, because of where the crack is? They would have to cut part of the head out to get to the crack, then weld that piece back in and machine the port back right and then surface etc. etc. you know? We are going to try something and see what happens, Bud Morgan is going to fix them, he has a procedure that he's used in the past that he said works great? Fingers Crossed!!

Chris got a little too happy on the short side radius of the exhaust port of number three and it cracked and it is just not enough room to get in there and weld, so without cutting the head up to repair the crack we are trying something else, Bud Morgan knows what to do! And I trust his decision on the matter! :D

I'm sorry to hear that John. Chris does excellent work and I'm perfectly happy with the heads on my car. I hope you get it all figured out and get it back together for this weekend! :)

Chris did an excellent job and I am very happy with the work and I think he'll fix them this winter like they need to be! He just took a little too much out of the short side of the exhaust on that hole, it happens?

Man what the hell? Everyone needs to chill out. Chris does good work and the cars that have his heads on them are flying. John's car is flying! I just think there was a big miscommunication that went down and thats all. I've been there too. It happens. No sense in getting all pissed and ready to fight. Christ.

Nothing! all good.
Hey, Josh, will you please edit the quote out of your post so no one else gets the wrong idea about it, and it stops here. Me and Chris spoke like two men ought to and worked things out, I would appreciate it, thanks in advance. ;)
