August 2nd North Star..............TTT5

It's that time again. Extreme Street True 10.5 and True Street Drag Radial has a Saturday race at North Star Dragway August 2nd. Set your calendar to be at this one. Cars from all over Texas are coming to compete.

1st round of Qualifying usually starts between 7:00 and 7: 30 PM. It's a night time race that usually wraps up by, or before midnight.

These True Street cars are amazing with what they are doing on an 8.9 inch wide drag radial. All of them are running stock suspension, although a ladder bar car can enter with a 100 lbs added but so far none have entered. The nitrous cars are limited to a single stage plate with one fuel entry point and one nitrous entry point into the plate with only one nitrous solenoid and one fuel solenoid and a 4150 style carb. Turbos are limited to a 76 mm air to air. These guys are hauling butt on these tires. It wouldn't surprise me one bit to see one of them dip down into the high 5.40's in the August heat at Dentons track. Their track has been absolutely awesome this year for special events like ours.

I hope to just qualify somewhere in the top 8 in Extreme. This class too has some heavy hitters running 20's on a single stage of nitrous in the summer heat. I think once we get into late September and into October when the air and temp is better, Extreme will see some hight teens. :eek:

If you haven't been to a TTT5 race, be sure and make this one. We have some of the best side-by-side racing to be found in the elimination rounds.
