i can't play any newer games. i have an Asus Pundit R pc and started playing Marine Sharpshooter 2 today. the other day i adjusted the settings on my ATI Radeon 9100 IGP and played the first one no problem. today, playing the 2nd one, my pc shut down and restarted twice on me. after the second time, i touched the computer and about burned myself. it is getting too hot and shutting down. i guess the onboard video is running hard and making it get entirely too hot. any idea on what i can do, besides getting a new pc as i can't afford it.

Just put like a box fan or something on it.

well, it is too small for a box fan. i will have to find a really small personal fan to put on it or something

Dude that's a business PC not a gaming rig. What's you max allowable budget for a puter? I might be able to get you a good deal.

thats my problem, i have no money what so ever. i bring home $364 a week, so im stuck. the computer does everything i need it too. i just started playing this game and really like it. last time i loaded the game, it played then my scout just stopped following me and i had to start it over and the same thing happened. so i uninstalled it. i tweeked the video settings and it runs 100% better. i dont' really play games on it. hopefully i will be moving to VA next week and after my first check there, i want to get a very nice laptop to play games, surf, and chat with my wife on. oh, and the guy i got this pc from was using it as a media set up in his living room.

btw: my comp meets the requirements of the game too, and then some

Dust the machine out. and a box fan is fine if it covers the whole machine. I wouldn't OC too much cause if overheats he can fry your whole setup.

Don't put the fan in it, just outside the case like...

im not wanting to OC or anything. i did have a pc that didn't have any fans at all and started getting hot on me so i got a personal fan and put next to it and fixed my problem. i could put my hand on the PS and it was cool to the touch. i may not play that game cuz it don't get hot doing anything else.

my pc is about the size of a laptop but 3 times thicker.
