So, yes. Jesse Jackson did use the "N" word. But it was not directed at Barack Obama. Fox News and Bill O'Reilly have maintained there was more on the tape, but that the un-aired portion was not relevant to the issue at hand: about whether Obama was "talking down" to the black community.

Thats all fine and dandy, but I'm sure you, like alot of other people realize that kind of stuff is accepted in the black community. Just look at any city that has a bigger than average black population and has blacks in political offices. The corruption and lack of caring runs rampant in these cities and the regular black voters just chalk it up to the way things are and always have been. New Orleans and Chicago are two fine examples of cities like this.

I think the Democratic Strategists are trying to manufacture tension within the Democratic party to make O'Blama appear to be a victim of certain "hackneyed and phantasmic" American social characteristics.

But then showboating and self promotion in front of cameras is his thing. I look for this to become a bigger story as we most assuredly are forced to discuss racism in more detail. The fact of the matter is that he relies on being the "blackest" member of the city council. He constantly calls attention to the differences between himself and the other comissioners. I don't know what's worse, a man that makes a beast of himself in public to the detriment of his district, or that a district would willingly allow this to happen to itself repeatedly. If he's such a crusader for his district, why isn't it the strongest one in Dallas? District 3 is home to the lowest per-capita income areas in Dallas County, and he's been a County Comissioner since I was a little kid! Fuck John Wylie Price, and anyone else that would render himself worthless and self-serving when he could be worthwhile and selfless in his duty to his community.
