I was doing my normal scan of markets when I got home. I noticed an oddity in the gold chart. Them I check my suspion against the US$ index. I noticed yesterday's move was at the same time and same magnitude, when I over laid today's chart with yesterday's.

It appears to me the Treasury deparment has drawn a line in the sand for the lower bound of the strong dollar policy and has been supporting the dollar. The USD has bounced off these levels several times this year.
