denton or redline?

I'm gonna head out to a track tonight, which one is better? I've never been out to the track before, so i don't know what to expect. I live in anna so both are about equal distance away.

what does 5.80 index mean? That mean it isn't a regular racing night?

I'm probably going to denton this week, I'll probably head back out that way in 2 weeks. I know my next mods are gonna be drag radials and LCA's. Need to improve on that 2.17 60ft.

I went out to Denton for the first time Friday night and was not impressed, granted there was no one there, but the track prep was not good. The traction was horrible. Redline is always packed though.

I have never heard anyone having traction problems at denton unless it was REALLY cold. Even on wed nights I am holding 1.48 60fts.

As far as the 20" DR's go, i thought about that for a while, but i didn't feel like it was worth the money since they won't hook as good as some 17's. My 20's are just for show anyway.

They are open on the first and third wed of the month, saturdays when they arent bracket racing, and sundays when they run their all out program. Go to their website and check the calander www.northstar-dragway.com

your best bet, is on friday nights...they have test n tune...and thats when i go...so if your planning on being there..ill be up there..

you'll get there eventually... the best i ran at denton was an 8.7...but at kenny, i ran an 8.4...if i can get into the 7's, i will be happy... :cool:
