If you look at them in the store they have an a decent picture. Keep in mind though that the black levels are no where near that of a new Samsung 6 or 7 series or the Sony's. If you are going to go with an LCD see what deals are available on either of those brands before looking at anything else.

From what I have now(720p), it's a big jump for me. Don't want to spend around 2g's right now. Just wondering if it's a pretty decent deal for the price. I'm guessing the black levels you're talking about is the "contrast ratio". Not GREAT, but not the LOWEST.
